Report a card Lost or Stolen

 Stop unauthorized use of your credit, debit or ATM card before it happens. If your debit or ATM card is lost or stolen call us immediately at 1-800-472-3272, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

Read Our Credit Card Safety Tips

  • Be sure to sign on the back of your card in the signature panel as soon as you receive it in the mail.
  • Do not share your PIN (personal identification number) with anyone.
  • Memorize your PIN, and never write it on your card or keep it in your purse or wallet.
  • Always pay attention to the surroundings when approaching an ATM. Make sure that it is located in an open and well-lighted location. When the transaction is complete, remember to take your receipt, card and cash and then leave immediately. Do not stop to count your cash until you are in a safe location.
  • Order a copy of your credit report annually. Make sure it's accurate and includes only those activities you've authorized. Request your free annual credit report today!
  • When your card has expired and you have received your new card, be sure to destroy your old card.
  • When using your card at a merchant, be sure your card is returned and that you received a copy of your receipt. When the receipt is no longer needed, be sure to shred or otherwise destroy it.
  • Always keep your card in a safe and secure location.
  • Keep a list of all credit and debit card accounts in case your wallet is lost or stolen.
  • Monitor your credit card, debit card, or ATM card transactions daily to ensure there are no unauthorized transactions. View all your transactions with ease through First Westroads Bank Online or Mobile Banking.

 

Your New Chip-Enabled MasterCard® Debit Card is Here!

First Westroads Bank is excited to announce our newest upgrade in security, your new Chip-Enabled Mastercard Debit Card. With an embedded computer chip, your card is now more secure than ever.

Your new card comes with a new card number and Personal Identification Number (PIN). To select a PIN and activate your new card, please call the toll-free number provided on your card. Please be sure to update any recurring payments with your new card at this time as well.

Chip-Enabled Debit Cards

 Information programmed into the chip is personalized for your account and each transaction is unique. Using your new Chip-Enabled Debit Card is easy as 1, 2, 3:

 

 

1. Insert your card, face up and chip end into the terminal.

2. Leave the card in the terminal during the entire transaction.

3. Follow the instructions on the screen and either sign your name or enter your PIN as needed. Be sure to remove your card and take your receipt when the transaction is complete.

If a merchant isn't using a chip-enabled terminal yet, you'll still be able to swipe your card to make your purchase.

 

At an ATM

The process is essentially the same as at a merchant. Insert your chip card into the terminal and follow instructions on the screen. Depending on the type of ATM, you might be prompted to re-insert your card. Leave the card in the ATM until the transaction is complete and the card is released, and then remove your card and any cash you may have withdrawn. A PIN is needed for ATM transactions.

 

On the Internet or on the phone

 Nothing has changed for transactions made Online or by telephone, so you'll make payments just as you do today.

 

Traveling Out Of State And Using Your Debit Card?

 Please contact us with your travel plans before leaving so there are no interruptions with your card service. Project PayBac® Partner school tours

On April 15th, First Westroads Bank had the pleasure to host over 75 first grade students to a tour of the bank. Among other things, they got to see cash & coin counters, the safe deposit box vault, and a brief presentation on how banks work.
